Do I need to log into Instagram?

No. Lurk never asks for your Instagram login. We only view publicly available information that anyone can see by visiting an Instagram profile.

Is my account safe?

Absolutely. Since we don't require any Instagram login, there's no risk to your Instagram account. Your personal data stays on your device.

Why can't I track a specific account?

Lurk only works with public Instagram accounts. If an account is private, we cannot access their following list, just like you wouldn't be able to see it on Instagram without following them.

How often is the data updated?

Free users get updates every 12 hours. Premium subscribers get hourly updates and instant push notifications when tracked accounts follow someone new.

How do I manage my subscription?

Will the tracked person know I'm watching?

No. Lurk views public information anonymously. The person you track will never know you're using Lurk to see their recent follows.

Why did my data disappear?

All data is stored locally on your device. If you delete and reinstall the app, your tracked accounts and history will be lost. We recommend taking screenshots of important data.
